Package around £18,000
Having recently come under the umbrella of Brunning and Price, who specialise in running quality food-led pubs, we are planning a physical and operational overhaul at this essentially lovely old building and as part of this are looking for new crew to come abroad now, so that they can be up to speed before the refit.
We have won a few awards over the years and you can find out much more about our style and philosophy on our website www.brunningandprice.co.uk
We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager with a big front of house character and good knowledge of food, wine and beer to help run the business alongside the management team.
The learning curve is steep, and you’ll soon gain expertise in food tasting and wine tasting, and get to grips with all the administrative systems in the restaurant.
You will learn how to direct your team mates, help to solve problems, help keep standards high, and before long, you’ll be running shifts.
You will need to understand and love pubs and restaurants, take real pleasure in making people happy and play a full role in keeping the business profitable, the crew happy and the customers coming back for more.
Being an assistant manager is an ideal opportunity to gain knowledge and experience of every aspect of restaurant life. We see our assistant managers as the first step on the management career ladder and we always try to promote from within when we can.
Our rate of growth means that there are exciting opportunities springing up all the time, and you will be able to develop your career at a pace that is appropriate to you.
